The NeeDoh Nice Cube is a super solid sensory squish cube that has skyrocketed in popularity. It’s calming and groovy and perfect for at-home or on the go fidgeting and squishing. It’s the squish that resists and it always goes back to square. SEE PRICE
We don’t know what it is exactly, but there’s just something so satisfying about this NeeDoh. It almost looks like a large ice cube. Which brings us to our prediction that one of the other most popular NeeDohs this holiday season will be their snowball version. Full disclosure, it’s super festive but not yet the most popular version. All kids right now want the above NeeDoh in icey blue and square… just wanted to make that clear.
Check it out, this is the new NeeDoh crunchy snowball. SEE PRICE
You can’t go wrong with giving a NeeDoh. The price point is under $10.00 and it’s the kind of thing kids lose and forget places so even if they already have it they will be happy to get another one and stack and squish doubly. Plus, despite it’s tough exterior these things do break over time so it’s good to have backup. BUY NOW
So the big question is: What is NeeDoh made of and what gives NeeDoh it’s addicting and satisfying texture? Well, NeeDoh toys are made of tough thermoplastic rubber on the outside and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) on the inside. The toys do not include BPA, phthalates, or latex and the PVA is a compound that is used in pharma and diet supplements which is said to be non-toxic. The outside is so durable and the brand claims they won’t break open. Basically, when it comes to squish toys the low price point usually involves mystery materials we worry about around our kids. At least we know what’s going on with this one.
Safety note: Unfortunately experimental Redditors reviewing the toy on Reddit.com have cracked open and licked their NeeDoh to report it’s actually sweet to taste. We imagine down the line the brand may adjust this to discourage consumption of the NeeDoh.
